This privacy policy explains how Aux Jeux collects, uses and stores personal information, and outlines your rights over that data. We treat privacy seriously, collecting only the information needed to operate the site and respond to enquiries.

3. What we collect
Aux Jeux is designed to collect the minimum information needed. In practice, what we collect falls into three categories:
3.1 Contact form submissions
When you send us a message through the contact form or by email, we receive:
- the name you have given us;
- your email address;
- the content of your message.
3.2 Technical server logs
For the site to operate, our server may temporarily log:
- your IP address in a shortened form;
- the browser type and version;
- your operating system;
- the time of the visit and the page you viewed.
We retain this information for up to 14 days for security purposes and do not connect it with any identifying personal data.
3.3 Cookies
Aux Jeux uses strictly necessary cookies so the site can operate, such as remembering your cookie consent choice. If you separately allow analytics or marketing cookies, some may be placed by third-party providers. Read more on the Cookie Policy page.
4. Purposes and lawful basis for processing
We process personal information for the following purposes and on the following bases under Canada’s PIPEDA and the OPC’s Information Privacy Principles (IPPs):
- Replying to enquiries: we process the information you give us to respond to your message (IPP 1, IPP 10).
- Site operation: server logs are processed for the security and integrity of the site (legitimate interest, IPP 5).
- Optional cookies: analytics and marketing cookies are used only with your consent (IPP 3, IPP 10).
- Legal compliance: we may process information to comply with a statutory obligation or a court order (IPP 11).
5. Retention
- Contact messages: retained for no more than 12 months unless the correspondence requires longer.
- Server logs: no more than 14 days.

Information that is no longer needed is deleted or anonymised at the end of its retention period.
6. Who can access your information
Aux Jeux does not sell personal information to third parties. It may share or process information in these situations:
- hosting partners and technical contractors (processors) who act on our written instructions;
- government agencies if required by law.
7. Cross-border transfers
The site’s primary technical environment is in Australia/Canada. If information is transferred outside Canada (for example to a US service provider), the transfer takes place only with safeguards consistent with IPP 12 — contractual protections that ensure comparable privacy standards to those required by the PIPEDA.
8. Your rights
Under the PIPEDA you have the following rights:
- Access (IPP 6): the right to know whether we hold personal information about you and to obtain a copy.
- Correction (IPP 7): the right to have inaccurate information corrected.
- Erasure: in certain situations, the right to have your information deleted.
- Restriction: in certain situations, the right to restrict processing.
- Portability: the right to receive your information in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Objection: the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Withdrawal of consent: if processing is based on your consent (for example, cookies), you may withdraw it at any time.

10. Security
Aux Jeux uses HTTPS encryption. Personal information is handled with care, with access limited to people who need it for their work. Regular security updates and sound practices are part of day-to-day operations.
11. Children
Aux Jeux is intended for adults only (19+). We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If a parent or guardian discovers that a child has submitted information, please contact us and we will delete it immediately.
12. Changes to this policy
We may revise this policy if our practices change or the law is updated. Significant changes will be noted on the site, with the latest update date always shown at the top of this page.
